Whit has been a professional improv comedian since 2002, having played and trained at ComedySportz Milwaukee in addition to being one of the founding members of Fish Sticks.

A versatile player, Whit is most known for playing tall characters.  Favorite improv games include Three Things, Moving Bodies, Blind Line, Replay and Day-in-the Life.  Always looking to find new ways to do improv, Whit is the inventor of the Fish Sticks original games of Kobayashi, Coliseum and Old Testament Ballet.  If you're looking to book a show, Whit is also the guy you'll probably talk to.

His greatest joy has not been in being a part of making thousands of people laugh out loud or in living up to the Fish Sticks pledge to keep all shows squeaky-clean.  The ministry aspect of Fish Sticks is huegly important to all of the Sticks.

According to Whit, that became very real after a show in Chicago when the leader of the church group Fish Sticks was performing for told him how important it was for the group to see a woman who had just lost her husband a month or two prior laugh as hard as she did.  Those kind of moments, along with the privilege to be a part of helping to fund Kingdom priorities has been very humbling.

Oh, and Whit was hit by a car while sitting in a Chinese carry-out restaurant. Bet you can't say that.

Whit is married to Jen and has four wonderful kids.
